If your printer is misfeeding media, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure the media is correctly positioned in the tray. If there are too many sheets, remove the excess to match the allowed maximum. Check that the media guides are adjusted correctly to the media size. Avoid using warped or wrinkled media; if you have, remove it, smooth it out, and reload it. Also, ensure you are using the correct type of media in the appropriate tray. Special media should only be loaded in Tray 1. Load transparencies or label sheets according to the manufacturer’s instructions and envelopes with the flaps facing down.
