Step 1 Disconnect power to the ice machine, remove
the electrical panel to allow viewing of the control board
lights. Disconnect the harvest float switch wire from the
control board and place a jumper on the control board
harvest switch terminals.
Step 2 Bypass the freeze time lock-in feature by
moving the toggle switch Off/On to cycle the ice machine
on. Wait until water flows over the evaporator, then refer
to chart.
Result Correction
10 seconds into the freeze
cycle the ice machine cycles
from freeze to harvest and
the control board harvest light
energizes.
The ice thickness float switch,
connectors or wiring are
causing the malfunction.
The harvest light comes on, but
the ice machine remains in the
freeze cycle.
The ice machine is in a 6 minute
freeze lock -
Cycle on/off and retest.
The harvest light stays off and
the ice machine remains in
freeze.
Replace the control board.
