Silencing the acoustic piano sound
Asshowningure3,pulltheleverofthemuteunit
located on the bottom panel of the piano toward
yourself, and lower the lever to lock it into place. To
go back to playing the acoustic piano conventionally,
return the lever to its original position.
Evenifthepianoissilenced,theremaybesome
leakage of the acoustic piano sound if you play a
chord strongly.
Don't operate this lever while you're playing
Using headphones
The HT-10 features two headphone jacks, so that two people can enjoy playing and lis-
tening.
Connect a pair of stereo headphones by inserting a stereo headphone mini plug into
one of the headphone jacks on the front of the sound module. (Figure 2)
To protect your hearing, do not listen to loud, high-volume sounds for a long pe-
riod of time through headphones.
Connecting audio components
YoucanusethePHONES/LINEjacksasline-outjackstoconnectpoweredspeakersor
audio components to the keyboard. For these connections, use commercially available
cables that are appropriate for the components that you're using.
Beforeconnectingaudiocomponents,makesurethatyouturnothepowertothe
unit and the audio components. Otherwise, damage or malfunction to the unit or
components may occur.
