Using the pedals
DamperpedalsandSopedalscanbeusedwiththeHT-10'ssounds.Youcanusethe
pedalsoftheacousticpianotomakeyourperformancemoreexpressive.
Damper pedal
The notes will be sustained while you hold down the pedal, creating a rich resonance.
Theamountofdamperthatisapplied(half-pedaleect)iscontrolledbyhowfardown
the pedal is pressed.
Soft pedal
Thesoundwillbesoerandmilderwhileyouholddownthepedal.Theamountof
so-pedalthatisapplied(half-pedaleect)iscontrolledbyhowfardownthepedalis
pressed.
Ahalf-pedaleectcanbeappliedtoPiano1or2.
Using Other Functions
In addition to selecting a preset sound or demo song, the HT-10 enables you to use
various functions by pressing and holding down the A
#
7, B7, and C8 keys and pressing
a key to where the corresponding function has been assigned.
While pressing and holding down the A

7, B7, and C8 keys, do not play the key-
board.Otherwise,anunexpectedresultmayoccur.
About the conrmation sound
When you press and hold down the A

7, B7, and C8 keys simultaneously on the right
side of the keyboard, or when you press a key where a function has been assigned,
youwillheartheconrmationsound.Youcanturnthissoundo,asdescribedbelow.
While simultaneously pressing and holding down the A

7, B7, and C8 keys, press the
A

0toturnotheconrmationsound.Toturnontheconrmationsound,repeatthe
previous procedure but press the B0 instead of A
#
0.
Thedefaultseing(whenyouturnontheunit)is“ConrmationsoundOn.”
Effects (Reverb and Chorus)
Youcanuseareverbeecttoaddreverberationanddepthtothesound,andachorus
eecttoaddwidthandspace.
