•UseonlytheincludedACadapter.
•TurntheKROME’sfrontpanelVOLUMEknoball
thewaytothelefttominimizethevolume.
•MakesurethattheKROME’spowerisoff.
•Ifyou’reconnec
tingtoanexternaloutputdevice
suchasamixerorapoweredmonitorspeaker,
minimizeitsvolumeandturnoffitspower.

monitorspeakers.
•Ifyou’remonitoringthroughheadphones,connect
themtoth
eheadphonejackthat’slocatedonthe
le
ftsideofthefrontoftheKROME.Thisheadphone
jackwilloutputthesamesignalasthestereooutput
(AUDIOOUTPUTL/MONOandR).
3. Turnonthepowerbypressingthepowerswitch
locatedontherearpaneloftheKROME.
Iftheautopower‐offfunctionisenabled,a
messagewillappearatstart‐up,informingyouof
thetimeuntilthepowerwillturnoff
automatically.Ifthisdialogboxdoesnotappear,
autopower‐offisnotenabled;thepowerwillnot
turnoffautomatically.(See“Theautopower‐off
function”onpage
8.)
4. Power‐onyourex
ternaloutputdevices,andadjust
theirvolumeappropriately.
5. Whileplayingthekeyboard,graduallyturnthe
VOLUMEknobtowardtherighttoadjustthe
volume.
