Set the effect parameters for the IFX 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 effects
that you selected in the Insert FX page (☞p.217–).
Effect Dmod (dynamic modulation) is controlled by the
global MIDI channel specified in Global Mode P1.
9–1: VALVE FORCE
Here you can adjust the settings of the Valve Force analog
vacuum tube circuit.
You can apply the Valve Force circuit when sampling or res-
ampling, and you can also use it in conjunction with an
insert effect.
Use the VALVE FORCE [ON/OFF] key to turn Valve
Force on/off.
Valve Force is a stereo-in/stereo-out analog circuit.

Input Trim [000...127]
Ultra Boost [000...127]
Tube Gain [000...127]
Output Level [000...127]
These parameters set the input to Valve Force, the amount of
ultra-low-frequency boost, the input gain to the vacuum
tube, and the output level from Valve Force.

Placement [Final, Insert (User 3/4 BUS)]
Specifies the location of the Valve Force circuit.
For details on this Final, refer to Program mode.
Insert (Use 3/4 BUS): This option places the Valve Force cir-
cuit after the 3/4 output DAC (Digital Analog Converter).
Bus 3/4 will be input to Valve Force. (The signal will also be
output from Individual 3/4.)
After the signal passes through Valve Force, it is converted
to digital form by the ADC (Analog Digital Converter), and
sent as specified by the “Pan (CC#8)” and “BUS Select” set-
tings to an insert effect, L/R, Individual 1/2 or 3/4 buses.
You can create a wide variety of combinations by specifying
the order in which Valve Force and insert effects are con-
nected. (☞Example settings)
