8.4.3 EMERGENCY STOP button
In order to be able to stop charging processes in dangerous situations, an EMERGENCY STOP button is
located directly under the RFID card reader at each charging station. Pressing the EMERGENCY OFF
button stops all charging processes immediately. The energy flow from the charging station to all
connected vehicles is interrupted. The EMERGENCY OFF button is recessed to prevent a user from
accidentally triggering the EMERGENCY OFF button.
Only press the EMERGENCY OFF button in dangerous situations. The EMERGENCY OFF button affects
the entire charging station, including all charging points.
If an EMERGENCY OFF button is pressed, operation of the charging station including all charging points
is no longer possible. Proceed as follows to restore the charging station to an operational state.
1. Eliminate the dangerous situation.
2. Disconnect all connected vehicles.
3. Unlock the emergency stop button.
The display of the charging station shows you the main menu again after a short time. You can
continue operating the charging station.
