Safety instructions
Necessary safety precautions before starting maintenance and servicing work
Note
The door contact switches off dangerous voltage on parts that can be touched directly. Circuits that
remain active despite being switched off are protected from contact by finger safety. Other areas of
the control cabinet (e.g. rear panel) can only be openedwith tools designed for this purpose.
WARNING
Danger to life due to non-observance of the safety instructions and residual risks
Failure to observe the safety instructions and residual risks can result in accidents with serious
injuries or death.
Observe the safety instructions (page 9).
Consider the residual risks in the risk assessment (page 15).
WARNING
Live parts
The charging stations have live parts.
Removal of covers, improper use of the charging station, incorrect operation or insufficient
maintenance can result in death, serious injury or property damage.
Always follow the "FiveSafety Rules" (page 9) when working on the charging station.
Only remove covers in accordance with the instructions in this operating manual.
Operate the charging station properly.
Maintain the charging station regularly and professionally according to the instructions in
the chapter "Maintenance" (page 203).
After the system has been switched off, parts of the system electrics may still be live. These
parts are covered and clearly labelled "Warning Even with main switch off live".
CAUTION
Danger from hot surfaces
There are components in the charging station whose surfaces become very hot. Avoid touching
these components. The components are marked with warning signs.
