1.4 Safety instructions
If these instructions are not followed, there is a risk of explosion.
Assembly, installation, start-up and maintenance may only be performed by personnel trained in
explosion protection!
1.5 Specific conditions of use
The following are special conditions for the safe use as listed in the certificate.
• The flowmeter is tested corresponding to the low risk of mechanical danger. The flowmeter
shall be istalled in such a way that there is no risk from mechanical impact effects.
• The flowmeter shall be istalled in such a way that it is protected against light.
• The optional connector at the connection side of the cable shall be connected outside the
hazardous area.
CAUTION!
The operator or his agent is responsible for observing any additional standards, directives or
laws if required due to operating conditions or place of installation.
WARNING!
The inside of the tube is considered a non-hazardous area. The operator or his agent is
responsible for ensuring that no explosive atmosphere is present inside the tube when power on
the equipment.
