Repair work includes the replacement and
the repair of components and is only re-
quired when components are damaged by
wear or other external circumstances.
The following applies to the specialist
workshop:
○ The necessary repair work must be
performed professionally, according to
the rules of engineering and in accord-
ance with the applicable regulations.
○ Do not repair worn or damaged com-
ponents using a makeshift repair.
○ Only use original or approved spare
parts for repairs (see "12.1 Spare parts",
pg.120).
○ Always replace any removed seals
with new seals.
○ Welding work on the frame, chassis
and on bearing parts may only be per-
formed after consultation with KRONE
customer service and KRONE con-
struction.
Replacing defective bulbs
!
WARNING
Risk of accident due to defective bulbs!
Defective bulbs cause poor visibility and
insufficient perception by third parties.
There is a risk of traffic accidents.
Replace defective bulbs immediately.
Defective bulbs can be replaced by the
driver.
○ Use similarly rated bulbs as replace-
ments.
○ Switch off the lighting system when
changing bulbs to prevent a short cir-
cuit.
○ Check the fuses of the lighting system
if necessary.
○ Observe the supplier documentation
when replacing bulbs.
○ If there are frequently occurring de-
fects, have the electrical system
checked out by an authorised special-
ist workshop.
