      The BeerTender DraughtKeg may not have been chilled long enough to reach the correct serving temperature. Allow the DraughtKeg to cool in the refrigerator for about 12 hours, or inside the BeerTender for up to 18 hours, until the ideal serving temperature is achieved.

      Too much foam can occur if the DraughtKeg hasn't cooled to the proper dispensing temperature. Allow the DraughtKeg to cool to the correct temperature. Also, ensure you firmly and quickly pull the tap handle down and forward as far as it will go. If the DraughtKeg has been shaken, wait 4 hours before dispensing.

      The scale needs to be reset with each new DraughtKeg. Turn the power on before inserting the DraughtKeg. If the DraughtKeg is already inside, open the BeerTender cover and lift the DraughtKeg for 3-5 seconds before placing it back in the machine.
