6.4 Soft-seated Globe Valves to DIN/EN
6.4.1 BOA-Compact EKB
CAUTION
Installation in copper pipes
Damage to the electrostatic plastic coating!
▷ Fit fabric-reinforced rubber gaskets (sealing elements to DINEN1514) between
the valve flanges and the pipe flanges.
▷ Fit insulating bushes with centring collar made of polyamide between bolts and
bolt holes.
NOTE
For handling hot fluids, the valve should be insulated in accordance with the
German energy-saving regulations. Insulating BOA-CompactEKB valves will extend
the service life of the valve's plastic coating.
