6.7 Fuel tap

The fuel tap is on the left side of the fuel tank.
Using the tap handle

on the fuel tap, you can open or close
the fuel supply to the carburetor.
Possible states
• Fuel supply closed OFF – Fuel cannot flow from the fuel tank
to the carburetor.
• Open fuel supply ON – Fuel can flow from the fuel tank to the
carburetor. The fuel tank empties completely.
6.8 Choke

is fitted on the left side of the carburetor.
Activating the choke function frees a drill hole in the carburetor
through which the engine can draw extra fuel. This results in a
richer fuel-air mixture, which is needed for a cold start.

If the engine is warm, the choke function must be deacti-
vated.
Possible states
• Choke function activated – The choke lever is pulled out to
the stop.
• Choke function deactivated – The choke lever is pushed in to
the stop.
