Hydraulic oil - fill
Filling quantity with oil change: approx. 13 l
Total hydraulic system capacity: 21 l
z Remove the oil filler cap (2).
z Insert a clean funnel with a strainer into the filler port.
z Fill hydraulic oil to half way up the sight glass (1).
z Screw in the oil filler cap.
z Start the excavator and operate all control functions.
z Operate the boom, arm, bucket and boom swing mechanism
so that all hydraulic cylinders are extended half way.
z Check the hydraulic oil level, add oil if necessary.
z Close the fuel filler flap.
Suction filter - change
z Drain the hydraulic oil (page 131).
z Remove the return filter from the hydraulic oil tank (page 130).
z Remove the suction filter (1).
z If necessary, remove any residues with a clean, lint-free cloth.
z Install a new suction filter and tighten it by hand.
z Install the return filter (page 130).
z Fill hydraulic oil (page 132).
Pay attention to utmost cleanliness when servicing the hydraulic system.
This service may only be carried out after the hydraulic oil has cooled down.
The suction filter must be replaced along with the hydraulic oil.
Dispose of cleaning cloths and the old filter element in
ac
cordance with applicable environmental protection
regulations.
