10.5.2 At the start of each season
- Re-read the operators' manual.
- Wipe off grease on cylinder rods.
- Check tyre pressure:
• Central parts (16/9.50-8):
2.34 bar (34 psi).
• Outer wings (16/6.50-8):
• 1.5 bar (22 psi).
- Check and replace worn or damaged tines.
- Check that all nuts and bolts are sufficiently
tightened.
- Check central gearbox oil level.
- Make sure that all protection devices are in place
and in good condition.
- Lubricate outer arm hydraulic cylinder pivot pins.
- The folding side stops must be in contact with the
intermediate sections:
• The rubber of the transport stops must flatten by
approximately X = 5mm (0.2’’) in transport
position. Readjust if necessary.
