STANDARD KUHN NORTH AMERICA PRODUCT WARRANTY
KUHN warrants, in accordance with the provisions below, to the original purchaser for the period of twelve (12) months from the date of
delivery of KUHN equipment that the machine is free from defects in material or workmanship. KUHN’s obligation under this warranty is
to repair or replace, at KUHN’s election, without charge and at the place of business of a DEALER authorized to handle KUHN
machinery, any part or parts of the machine which, in the judgment of KUHN, prove to be defective. The purchaser will be responsible for
any service call and/or transportation of product to and from the DEALER’s place of business. To secure warranty service, the purchaser
must report the product defect to an authorized DEALER and request repair within the applicable warranty term, and present evidence of
the warranty start date.
THIS WARRANTY AND KUHN’S OBLIGATION HEREUNDER IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, and all other obligations or liabilities of KUHN for incidental and consequential damages resulting from the design,
manufacture, sale or use of the machine. No person is authorized to make any warranty or assume for KUHN any liability not strictly in
accordance with this warranty.
Some states (USA), provinces (Canada) or other applicable jurisdictions may not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you
may also have other rights which vary from state to state (USA), province to province (Canada) or between applicable jurisdictions .
Purchaser expressly waives any and all claims for punitive damages and all claims of negligence or strict liability or both. In no event
shall KUHN’s liability exceed the purchase price of any product which is actually paid.
If any provision of this warranty should be held invalid or unenforceable for any reason whatsoever, this warranty is to be considered
divisible as to such provision, and such provision is to be deemed deleted from this warranty, and the remainder of this warranty shall be
valid and binding as if such provision were not included herein.
PURCHASED PRODUCT WARRANTY
This warranty does not apply to component parts not manufactured by Kuhn such as but not limited to, wheels, tires, tubes, PTO shafts,
clutches, hydraulic cylinder, except to the extent of their individual manufacturer’s guarantees.
WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
This warranty shall not apply to any machine or machine part which, in the judgment of KUHN, has been altered or tampered with in any
way, has been subjected to misuse, neglect or accident, has been used for an application not designed for or pre-authorized by KUHN in
writing, has had the serial numbers altered, effaced or removed, or has been scrapped, junked, or totaled. KUHN is not responsible for
the following; Depreciation or damage caused by normal wear, lack of reasonable and proper maintenance, failure to follow the Operator
Manual recommendations, or normal maintenance parts and service including but not limited to shear pins, friction clutches, hammers,
lubricants, belts, blades, knives, tines, shares and filters. KUHN is also not responsible for rental of replacement equipment during
warranty repairs, damage to a power unit (including but not limited to a tractor or truck), loss of earnings due to equipment down time, or
damage to equipment while in transit to or from a KUHN facility or DEALER. All warranties, including the regular twelve (12) month
warranty, are reduced by one half (1/2) if the machine is used in a non-agricultural commercial use or used as a rental unit.
PRODUCT CHANGES AND IMPROVEMENT
KUHN is continually striving to improve its products, and therefore reserves the right to make improvements or changes when
it becomes practical and possible to do so, without incurring any obligations to make changes or additions to the equipment
previously manufactured.

KUHN recommends that all DEALERS have scale loaners available for customer use. However, KUHN does offer rental
indicators to DEALERS for their customers’ use. Rentals are not covered by scale manufacturer warranties or by KUHN
warranty. Rental indicators are invoiced at a set rate for the first 21 days of use and a per day charge over 21 days (21 day
minimum charge) (contact KUHN – Brodhead, WI for rate). Repair charges will apply for any damage done to the indicator
while it was being used.
