MIDI

MIDI is the acronym for Musical Instrument Digital Interface. It is the industry standard
protocol which allows the exchange of musical data between electronic musical
instruments, devices (such as a sequencer), and computers.
See the MIDI Implementation Chart on page 24 for more details on supported MIDI
messages.
1. USB MIDI Connection
M110 has a USB port on the back panel of your instrument:
● The MIDI In port is used to receive MIDI data from another MIDI device.
The MIDI Out port is used to transmit the MIDI data generated by the M110 to another
MIDI device.
USB Connection can perform MIDI In/Out function with no need to use a MIDI cable.
No drivers and additional MIDI interfaces are required to use this connection.
The M110 supports the “Plug and Play” feature used in the Windows XP or higher and
Macintosh operating systems.
