andtriggerthearpeggiatorwhilenootherarpeggiatorsarerunning.Assoonasyoustart
somethingtosyncto,thebassarpeggiatorwillstart

synctosomethingelseorthefirstavailable).Ifanotherarpeggiatorisalready running,
AnyBeatWaitbehavesjustlikeAnyBeat.
WithSyncTypesettoLoop,ifthereisalreadyarifforsongplayingtosyncto,thecurrent
arpeggiatorwillwait
fortheplayingrifforsongtorestartitsloop(ifitislooped)beforestarting

loopingsongs.)Thiswayyoucantriggerthearpeggiatortostartaheadoftime,andhaveitstart
in
syncatthestartoftheplayingrifforsong’sloop(providedthatitissettosynctoariff,song,
orthefirstavailable).
WithSyncTypesettoStop,ifthereisalreadysomethingplayingtosyncto,thecurrent
arpeggiatorwillwaitforwhatisplayingto
stopbeforestarting.Thiswayyoucantriggerthe
arpeggiatortostartaheadoftime,andhaveitstartinsyncattherelease(stopping)oftheriff,
arpeggiator,orsongthatyouaresyncingto.
WithSyncTypesettoStartWait,ifthereisnothingplayingtosyncto,thecurrent
arpeggiator
willwaitforsomethingitcansynctotobeginplayingfirstbeforestarting.Thisissimilarto
DownBeatWait,butitwillonlytriggerthearpeggiatorthefirsttimethatwhateveritissyncing
tostarts.Thiswayyoucantriggerthearpeggiatortostartaheadoftime,and
haveitstartinsync
atthestartoftheriff,arpeggiator,orsongthatyouaresyncingto.Ifyoustopthearpeggiator
andtrytostartitagainwhilethethingyouaresyncingtoisalreadyplaying,StartWaitwillnot
startthearpeggia tor.

ifthereisalreadyarifforsongplayingtosyncto,thecurrent
arpeggiatorwillwaitfortheplayingrifforsongtorestartitsloop(ifitislooped)beforestarting

songs.)Thiswayyoucantriggerthearpeggiatortostartaheadoftime,andhaveitstart
insyncatthestartofthep layingrifforsong’sloop.ThedifferencefromLoopisthatifthereis
nothingplayingtosyncto,thearpeggiator willnotstart.Iftheriff
orsongthatyouaresyncing
toisalreadyrunning,LoopWaitbehavesjustlikeLoop.
WithSyncTypesettoStopWait,ifthereisalreadysomethingplayingtosyncto,thecurrent
arpeggiatorwillwaitforwhatisplayingtostopbeforestarting.Thiswayyoucantriggerthe
arpeggiatorto
startaheadoftime,andhaveitstartinsyncattherelease(stopping)oftheriff,
arpeggiator,orsongthatyouaresyncingto.ThedifferencefromStopisthatifthereisnothing
playingtosyncto,thearpeggiatorwillnotstart.Thiscanbeusefulifyou
wanttogetyour
arpeggiatorreadytosyncbeforeyoustartwhateveryouaresyncingitto.Iftherifforsongthat
youaresyncingtoisalreadyrunning,StopWaitbehavesjustlikeStop.
Num Beats
Thisaffectsthesyncingofotherarpeggiatororriffzonestothecurrentzone,only
ifthoseother
zoneshaveaSyncTypesettingofDownbeatorDownbeatWait.Forzonesbeingsyncedtothe
currentzone’sarpeggiator,thisdetermineshowmanynotesmustbeplayedbythecurrent
zone’sarpeggiatorbeforeadownbeatoccurs.BydecreasingorincreasingthevalueoftheNum
Beatsparameter,youcan
makezoneswithaSyncType settingofDownbeatorDownbeatWait
behaveasifdownbeatsareoccurringlessormorefrequently.
