Adding Paper to the Paper Cassette and MP
Tray
The paper cassette can accommodate A5 to A3 size paper and can hold approxi-
mately 250 sheets. The MP (Multi Purpose) tray can accommodate the various paper
sizes and can hold approximately 100 sheets of paper.
Paper sizes that are not standard sizes (custom sizes) but within the size limita-
tions can also be loaded into the cassette. When loading custom sizes into the cas-
sette, the size must be input into the printer on the operator panel (Refer to the
Operation Guide [PDF file] provided on the CD-ROM). Standard size paper set-
tings are indicated as fixed positions in the cassette.
The following paper weights can
be used with the printer.
The edges of paper are sharp. When loading paper, be careful not to cut
your hand on the paper.
Paper cassette
The paper cassette is adjusted to A4 size at the time of shipment. Take the follow-
ing steps to set paper into the paper cassette.

Pull the paper cassette all the way out of
the printer.
