Item Description Function
9 Alarms Two setable alarm functions, Alarm 1 and Alarm 2.
Each alarm has the following options:
Type - High Alarm: alarms at upper temperature input
point, Low Alarm: alarms at lower temperature input
point, Emissivity Lost (SN variants only): alarms when
emissivity input is lost, Non-greyness Lost (SR variant
only): alarms when non-greyness input is lost,
Obscuration (SNR1 variants only): alarms when
thermometer field of view is obscurred
Level - Trip level of High and Low alarms
Contact Mode - Set alarm contact to N/O or N/C
10 User Calibration This function allows the user to purposefully offset the
factory calibration (temperature readings) of the
instrument to address local requirements. Calibrated
readings are sacrificed in this mode, but accurate
calibration returns when the option is set back to the
default (1.00). The factory calibration of the instrument
is protected and remains unchanged after using this
function
11 Laser Activate - This allows the user to manually select laser
activation. An LED illuminates when the laser is active
12 Read/Apply Apply - Applies any changes made via the
configuration software to the thermometer
Read - Reads and displays parameters set in the
thermometer
