A key design feature of the SOLOnet system is the flexibility of data access and
the ease of instrument installation.
Although there are many schemes to match many applications, these schemes
can be roughly categorised into two main groups:
• Non-Ethernet - providing current and contact-closure I/O and 4-wire
RS485 connectivity
• Ethernet (requires optional SN-W/E interface unit) - providing current
and contact-closure I/O and Ethernet connectivity.
