6.2.7 Control Operation of On-Board Component/System
This option is used to access vehicle-specic subsystem and component tests.
Available tests vary by vehicle manufacturer, year, and model.
6.2.8 Read Vehicle Information
This function retrieves a list of information (provided by the vehicle
manufacturer) from the vehicle’s on-board computer.
This information may include: VIN (Vehicle Identication Number), CID
(Calibration ID) and CVN (Calibration Verication Number).
