3.4 ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
• make sure that the information on the data plate of the
machine corresponds to the voltage of the electrical
mains;
•
plug the machine into the
electrical mains.
4. PREPARATION OF THE MACHINE
4.1 TURNING ON THE MACHINE
Turn the machine on using the main switch (1).
Before using the machine, wait for a short time (about 10 min.) until the
gauge (2) indicates the correct working pressure (1-1.2 bars).
4.2 POD PREPARATION
• Insert the pod into the filter holder, as shown in the figure;
• attach the filter holder to the group and tighten firmly.

Before using the machine, make a dry run for a few seconds
with the filter holder attached in order to release any air
which may be in the circuit, thus allowing complete heating
of the dispensing unit.
Use “LAVAZZA BLUE” pods only.
The pods are to be used once only.
Do not insert your fingers into the filter-holder or any other object.
Be careful to insert the pod in the correct filter holder
(with 1 or 2 spouts).
