BASIC PERFORMANCE

OSCILLOSCOPE

Turn-On
Before
switching on the
digital
oscilloscope (DSO),
check
that the
correct
line
voltage
is
set
at
the
rear-panel
power selector.
Switch
on
the
power
using the power
switch on the rear
panel. Then
check:
-
that
the
display turns on
after
about
10
seconds
-
that
the display
is
stable
-
that
the
range of INTENSITY
and GRID INTENSITY
is reasonable
Wait for about
20
minutes
for
the
scope to reach
a
stable operating
temperature.
2 Noise on
the Inputs
This is to
verify the proper
operation of all front-end components.
With no
signal connected to the inputs,
set
the DSO
as
follows:
