2 LINKAGE TO THE TRACTOR
Take note when using the SPLENDIMO FC mower in the tractor's
front hydraulics that the tractor hydraulics are single acting, or that
they can be placed in the floating position in the case of double-
acting front hydraulics. Single-acting or double-acting tractor
hydraulics with floating position can move upwards if the mower
touches the three-point hitch on uneven plots. If the tractor's
hydraulics do not move upwards, the weight of the tractor may be
transferred to the three-point hitch and cause serious damage to the
mower. The same applies when the SPLENDIMO FC mower is used in
the tractor's rear hydraulics or in a Triplo configuration.
- Fit the quick hitch (ISO 11001-2, fig. 3) to the tractor's front
hydraulics. Adjust the length of the top link in such a way that the
quick hitch is parallel to the machine’s three-point hitch.
- Use stabilisation chains or rods to avoid lateral movement of the
lever arms.
- Manoeuvre the quick hitch carefully underneath the three-point
hitch and couple the machine. Check whether the quick hitch has
been secured with the locking hook (fig. 4: A). Fit a securing pin in
the top of the locking hook.
If the hook fails to spring back above the securing plate (fig. 4: B), or
if it has too much clearance, the securing plate must be re-adjusted.
Proceed as follows:
• Lower the tractor’s hydraulics and reverse the tractor.
• Loosen the fastening screw (fig. 4: C) and adjust the securing
plate by means of an adjusting screw (fig. 4: D).
• Secure the adjusting screw with the aid of the nut (fig. 4: E) and
re-tighten the securing plate.
- Check if the PTO shaft telescopes smoothly.
- Fit the PTO shaft to the tractor PTO.
During first assembly or when using another tractor, check
the minimum and maximum overlap of the PTO shaft halves
in all positions

- Fit the safety chain of the protection tube to a rigid part of
the tractor.
- Connect the hydraulic hose to a single-acting hydraulic tractor
valve with a floating position.
Permitted maximum oil pressure: 21.0 MPa (210 bar).
SPLENDIMO 320 FC:
- Lift the three-point hitch until the locking pins are released.
Move the locking pins to the attachment lips in the storage space.
- Fit the chains of the protective cover to the tractor's hydraulics
(fig. 5).
