4 MACHINE ADJUSTMENTS
Put the machine into the working position as follows:
- Open the valve on the ram (fig. 8).
- Adjust the tractor's front hydraulics so that the bottom of the
three-point hitch is approximately 80 cm above ground level
(fig. 9). Take tractor wheelings into account.
Limit the downward movement with the help of stabilisation
chains, for example, if it is impossible to maintain the adjusted
height of the tractor's hydraulics.
- Lower the machine onto the ground using the hydraulic ram.
SPLENDIMO 280 FC:
- Fold the safety guards on the front of the machine downwards.
SPLENDIMO 320 FC:
- Fit the two safety guards to the sides of the machine.
- Fold the safety guards on either side downwards in the locking
system (fig. 10).
The machine is now ready for operation.
4.1 Mowing height
The SPLENDIMO FC mower has 2 positions to ensure a “rough” pre-
adjustment of the mowing height. A higher mowing height can be
set by attaching the parallelogram arm (A, fig. 9) in the lowest hole
to the three-point hitch. By choosing the lowest hole, the forward
inclination of the three-point hitch can be limited in order to ensure
a greater lifting height on headlands.
- Adjust the mowing height carefully by adjusting the forward
inclination of the cutter bar with the aid of the top link (fig. 11).
