7.0. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS AND WIRING
7.1. Wiring Precautions
• The installation must be conducted in accordance with local and national wiring regulations,
codes and standards.
• Only the power cord with the rated voltage and specified circuit for air conditioner can be used.
• Do not apply excessive force to the power cord.
• The electrical installation should be carried out by the technician as instructed by the local and
national regulations, codes and standards. This manual should be followed.
• The diameter of the power cord should meet the recommendations in Table 10. Always replace a
damaged power cord with the equivalent specified cord.
• Always ensure the unit is correctly earthed and the earth wire is connected to the dedicated
device of the building by the technician. Select the air switch coupled with the leakage current
protection switch as per Table 10 recommendations to meet capacity, magnetic and thermal
tripping functions in the event of a short circuit and overload.
