7.2. Earthing Requirements
• The air conditioner is a Class 1 electric appliance. It must be properly earthed using a specialised
earthing device installed by a professional. Please make sure it is earthed eectively, otherwise it
may cause electric shock.
• The yellow-green wire in air conditioner is the earth wire. The earth wire cannot be used for other
purposes.
• The reliable earth terminal should be provided and the earth wire cannot be connected to any of
the following:
• Running water pipe
• Coal gas pipe
• Sewage pipe
• Other places which may be unsuitable.
7.3. Electrical Cable Connection
• Incorrect wiring connections may cause malfunction of some electric components. Aer fixing the
power cable, ensure that there is suicient spare cable between connection points to prevent
cables from being accidentally detached.
• The mistake connecting line will result in malfunction. Aer the electrical wiring working, ensure the
wire between the connection place and the fixed place has a certain freedom degree.
• The connection piping and connection line of each indoor unit should be connected as per the
instructions in this manual.
• All electrical installation should be carried out by a qualified technician as instructed by the local
laws and regulations and this manual.
• The installation location should be dry and protected from direct sunlight or strong breeze.
• Install a circuit breaker to enable shut o the main power supply to the system in the event of
malfunction.
