19 - ELECTRICAL HEATER
19.1 - Function
The electrical heater option is an additional heating capacity to help the heat pump to reach the set point during
hard winter period.
19.2 - Description
The electrical heater option has both utilisations:
19.2.1 - Antifreeze heater
In this case, the heater is used to prevent the evaporator water from antifreeze. The heater is activated when
the low alarm temperature appears in cooling mode or when the safety low temperature is reached in heating
mode.
19.2.2 - Auxiliary heater
The heater is activated when the water temperature is far from the set point. In this case, the heater is used to
help the compressors to reach the heating set point.
19.3 - Settings
The setting to configure the electrical heater is available in the menu:
• (3164): Configuration of the electrical heater.
