Tipsonusingtheacpoweradapter
•Whentheacpoweradapterisnotinuse,disconnectitfromtheelectricaloutlet.
•Donotbindthepowercordtightlyaroundtheacpoweradaptertransformerpackwhenitisconnectedto
thetransformer.
•Beforeyouchargethebattery,makesurethatitstemperatureisatleast10°C(50°F).
•Youcanchargethebatterywhentheacpoweradapterisconnectedtothecomputerandthebatteryis
installed.Youneedtochargethebatteryinanyofthefollowingconditions:
–Anewbatteryisinstalled.
–Thepercentageofpowerremainingislow.
–Thebatteryhasnotbeenusedforalongtime.
Chargingthebattery
Whenyoundthatthepercentageofpowerremainingisloworwhenthepoweralarmalertsyouthatthe
remainingpowerislow,youneedtochargeyourbatteryorreplaceitwithachargedbattery.
Ifanacoutletisconvenient,plugtheacpoweradapterintoit,andtheninsertthejackintothecomputer.
Thebatterywillbefullychargedinaboutthreetosixhours.Thisisaffectedbythebatterysizeandthe
physicalenvironment.Youcancheckthebatterychargingstatusatanytimethroughthebatterystatus
iconintheWindowsnoticationarea.
Note:Tomaximizethelifeofthebattery,thecomputerdoesnotstartrechargingthebatteryiftheremaining
powerisgreaterthan95%.
Maximizingthebatterylife
Tomaximizethelifeofthebattery,dothefollowing:
•Usethebatteryuntilthechargeiscompletelydepleted.
•Rechargethebatterycompletelybeforeusingit.Youcanseewhetherthebatteryisfullychargedfromthe
batterystatusiconintheWindowsnoticationarea.
•Alwaysusepowermanagementfeaturessuchaspower-savingmodes.
