lessthaneightdigitsormorethan16digits.AfterthestatusLEDashesinblue,inputanadministrator
passwordthatcontainseightto16digits.
4.Inputthenewadministratorpasswordagain,andthenpress.ThestatusLEDstaysingreenforthree
seconds,indicatingthattheadministratorpasswordissuccessfullychanged.

•IfthestatusLEDashesinredthreetimesandthenashesinblue,gobacktostep3.Thisproblem
iscausedbyoneofthefollowingreasons:
–Youwaitlongerthan10secondsbeforeinputtingthenewadministratorpassword.
–Thenewadministratorpasswordisincorrectlyinput.
•Ifnoactivityisdetectedwithintwominutesinadministratormode,thesecureharddrivewillreturnto
standbymode.
Addinganewuserpassword
Thesecureharddriveenablesyoutohaveupto10userpasswords.Toaddanewuserpassword,
dothefollowing:
1.Enteradministratormode.See“Enteringadministratormode”onpage5formoreinformation.
2.Hold+1untilthestatusLEDashesinblue.
3.Inputanewuserpassword(aminimumofeightdigitsandamaximumof16digits),andthenpress
.ThestatusLEDashesingreenthreetimes.

thaneightdigitsormorethan16digits.AfterthestatusLEDashesinblue,inputauserpasswordthat

4.Inputthenewuserpasswordagain,andthenpress.ThestatusLEDstaysingreenforthreeseconds,
indicatingthattheuserpasswordissuccessfullyadded.
