10.ClickOK.
11.Ensurethatthedrivepartitioniscorrect,andthenclickNext.Theinstallationbegins.
Note:Y ourserverwillrestartseveraltimesduringtheinstallation.
12.WhentheSettingswindowisdisplayed,setanadministratorpasswordandclickFinish.Then,follow
theinstructionsonthescreentosigninwhenprompted.
Note:Thepasswordmustbeacombinationofuppercaseletters,lowercaseletters,andnumbers.
Installingthedriverforchipset
Toinstallthedriverforchipset,dothefollowing:
1.LogintotheoperatingsystemandinserttheThinkServerEasyStartupDVDintotheopticaldrive.The
ThinkServerEasyStartupDVDrunsautomatically.
Note:IftheDVDdoesnotrunautomatically,clickRunlaunch.exeintheAutoPlaywindow.
2.Inthe“EndUserLicenseAgreement”window,clickAccept.Theinstallationwindowisdisplayed.
3.ClickDriverInstallation.Then,selectyourservermodelfromtheServerModeldrop-downlistbox,
andtheoperatingsystemfromtheOperatingSystemdrop-downlistbox.
4.SelectIntel
®
ChipsetfromthePleaseSelectDriverdrop-downlistbox.
5.ClickInstall.TheWelcometotheSetupProgramwindowisdisplayed.
Note:Ifprompted,clickY es.
6.ClickNext.TheLicenseAgreementwindowisdisplayed.
7.ClickYes.TheReadmeFileInformationwindowisdisplayed.
8.ClickNext.
9.WhentheSetupProgresswindowisdisplayed,clickNext.
10.Whentheinstallationcompletes,selectYes,Iwanttorestartthiscomputernow.Then,clickFinish
torestartyourserver.
Installingthedriverforanonboardgraphicscard
Toinstallthedriverforanonboardgraphicscard,dothefollowing:
1.LogintotheoperatingsystemandinserttheThinkServerEasyStartupDVDintotheopticaldrive.The
ThinkServerEasyStartupDVDrunsautomatically.
Note:IftheDVDdoesnotrunautomatically,clickRunlaunch.exeintheAutoPlaywindow.
2.Inthe“EndUserLicenseAgreement”window,clickAccept.Theinstallationwindowisdisplayed.
3.ClickDriverInstallation.Then,selectyourservermodelfromtheServerModeldrop-downlistbox,
andtheoperatingsystemfromtheOperatingSystemdrop-downlistbox.
