Toreinstalltheservercoverandreconnectcablestoyourserver,dothefollowing:
1.Ensurethatallcomponentshavebeenreassembledcorrectlyandthatnotoolsorloosescrewsare
leftinsideyourserver.
2.Ensurethatallinternalcablesareconnectedandroutedcorrectlyandsecuredbyanycableclipsor
tiesintheserver.Keepcablesclearofthehingesandsidesofthechassistoavoidinterferencewith
reinstallingthecoolingshroudandtheservercover.Thefollowingillustrationshowsanexampleofthe
cableroutinginthechassisforservermodelswithanopticaldriveandaninternaltapedriveinstalled.
•Routethepowercable
1forthefrontbackplanethroughthemiddleofthechassis.
•Properlyroutethecable2thatisconnectedfromtheopticaldrivetothefrontbackplane.
•Properlyroutethecable3thatisconnectedfromtheinternaltapedrivetothefrontbackplane
andtheAnyRAIDadapter.
•Routethesignalcables4throughtheleftinnersideofthechassis.Thesignalcablesincludethe
following:
–SATAsignalcablefromtheopticaldrivetothecorrespondingSATAconnectoronthesystemboard.
–CablesfromthefrontpanelboardandthefrontVGAandUSBmoduletothefrontpanel
connectorsonthesystemboard.
–CablefromtheAnyRAIDadaptertotheAnyRAIDconnectoronthesystemboard.
