2.2.13 System fan replacement
Do not proceed before reading and understanding the "Safety Precautions" section of this chapter and "Read Me First".
Caution: Hazardous moving parts. Keep fingers and other body parts away.
To remove a system fan, do the following:
1. Remove the top cover. See "2.2.3 Top cover replacement".
2. Lift the system fan module out of the chassis.
Removing the system fan
To reinstall, reverse the steps above.
2.2.14 System fan cage replacement
Do not proceed before reading and understanding the "Safety Precautions" section of this chapter and "Read Me First".
To remove a system fan cage, do the following:
1. Remove the top cover. See "2.2.3 Top cover replacement".
2. Remove all system fans. See "2.2.13 System fan replacement".
3. Rotate the latches on the system fan cage (Step 1).
4. Lift up the fan cage (Step 2).
To reinstall, reverse the steps above.
