Installing a memory module.
To remove, reverse the steps above.
2.2.7 Riser module replacement
Do not proceed before reading and understanding the "Safety Precautions" section of this chapter and "Read Me First".
To remove the riser 1 and riser 2 rear HDD module assembly, do the following:
1. Turn off all attached devices and the server.
2. Disconnect the ac power cord from the electrical outlet.
3. Remove the top cover. See "2.2.3 Top cover replacement".
4. Disconnect all cables connected to the PCIe cards and rear HDD module.
5. Grasp the assembly with both hands and carefully lift it off the chassis.
To reinstall, reverse the steps above.
2.2.8 PCIe card and PCI cage replacement
Do not proceed before reading and understanding the "Safety Precautions" section of this chapter and "Read Me First".
To remove a PCIe card on riser module, do the following:
1. Turn off all attached devices and the server.
2. Disconnect the ac power cord from the electrical outlet.
3. Remove the top cover. See "2.2.3 Top cover replacement".
