This document describes the Lenoxx Home Entertainment System, models CD 114BL and CD 114BR, batch PR4802. It is a multi-audio recorder and player designed for home use, offering a variety of playback and recording functionalities across different media types.
The Lenoxx Home Entertainment System is a versatile audio device capable of playing and recording from multiple sources. It integrates a phonograph (turntable), a cassette player/recorder, a CD player, an AM/FM radio tuner, and supports playback and encoding from USB drives and SD/MMC cards. It also features Bluetooth connectivity for wireless audio streaming and an auxiliary input for connecting external audio devices.
To power on the unit, press the volume knob. The function selector button allows you to switch between different modes such as AM, FM, PHONO/AUX, CD/USB/SD, BT (Bluetooth), and TAPE. The volume knob controls the audio output level. The LCD display screen provides visual feedback on the current mode, track information, and other operational details.
The phonograph allows playback of vinyl records. To use, open the dust cover and select PHONO mode. Set the speed selector to 33, 45, or 78 rpm, matching the record type. The auto stop control can be set to ON to automatically stop the turntable at the end of a record, or OFF to allow continuous rotation. Place the record on the turntable, using the 45 RPM adaptor if needed. Use the lift lever to raise and lower the tonearm. Gently move the tonearm to the record to begin playback. To stop, raise the tonearm and return it to the arm park. After use, engage the tonearm lock to secure it.
The system can encode vinyl records directly to a USB drive or SD/MMC card. In PHONO mode, insert a memory device and press the record (REC) button. The system will read the device, and the USB or SD icon will flash. Select the desired encoding destination (USB or SD) and confirm by pressing REC again. Start record playback, and the system will begin encoding at a 1:1 speed, meaning the recording duration matches the playback duration. The recording format is MP3 at 128 kbps. Press the stop button to finish encoding.
To play cassettes, select TAPE mode and press the Stop/Eject button to open the cassette door. Insert a prerecorded cassette and press the Play button. Fast forward and rewind functions are available using their respective buttons. To stop playback, press Stop/Eject once; to eject the cassette, press it again. It is recommended to remove cassettes when not in use to prevent damage.
The system supports recording from various sources (RADIO, PHONO, AUX IN, CD, USB, SD) to a blank cassette tape. While playing the desired source, open the tape door, insert a blank tape, and close the door securely. Simultaneously press the RECORDER and PLAYER buttons to prepare for recording. Begin playing the source content. The PAUSE button can temporarily halt and resume recording. Press STOP to end the recording. When the tape reaches its end, the RECORDER and PLAYER buttons will automatically disengage.
Similar to phono encoding, cassettes can be encoded to a USB drive or SD/MMC card. In TAPE mode, insert a memory device and press the REC button. Select the encoding destination (USB or SD) and confirm. Insert the cassette into the playback slot. Start cassette playback, and the system will encode the audio at a 1:1 speed to MP3 128 kbps. Press STOP to finish.
To play CDs, press the CD/USB/SD button to select CD mode. Press the Open/Close button to open the CD tray, place a CD with the labeled side up, and close the tray. The system will display "READING" and then automatically start playing the first track. If the CD is blank or unreadable, "ERROR" will be displayed. During playback, the Play/Pause button can pause and resume. Skip buttons allow navigation to the next or previous tracks, or fast forwarding/rewinding within a track by holding them down. The repeat function allows repeating a single track, all tracks, or playing tracks randomly.
CDs can also be encoded to a USB drive or SD/MMC card. In CD/USB/SD mode, insert a memory device and press REC. Select the encoding destination (USB or SD) and confirm. Insert the CD and start playback. The system will encode the CD audio at a 1:1 speed to MP3 128 kbps. Press STOP to finish.
The system supports playback of MP3/WMA files from USB drives and SD/MMC cards (up to 8GB). Insert the USB device face up into the USB port, or the memory card in the direction of the arrow into the SD/MMC slot. Press the CD/USB/SD button twice for USB or three times for SD. The system will read the storage medium, display the number of folders and files, and begin audio playback automatically.
PLAY/PAUSE: Stop/continue playback. STOP: Stop audio playback. SKIP UP/DOWN: Play next/previous file; fast forward/reverse by holding. TUNING KNOB: Search folders backward or forward. The system supports MP3 bit rates of 32-256 kbps and WMA bit rates of 32-320 kbps.
Up to 64 tracks can be programmed for playback in a desired order. In CD/USB/SD mode and STOP mode, press the PROG button. The LCD will flash "MEM" and indicate the program number. Use SKIP UP/DOWN to select a track and PROG to store it. Repeat for additional tracks. Press PLAY/PAUSE to play the programmed sequence. Press STOP twice to cancel.
Files can be copied between a USB device and an SD/MMC card.
Files, folders, or all files can be deleted from a USB drive or SD card.
Before removing, switch the function selector to another mode (tuner, phono, tape) and turn off the power. Pull out the USB device. For memory cards, press the card inwards to partially eject it, then remove it by hand.
Select PHONO/AUX mode and connect an external audio device (e.g., CD player) to the AUX IN socket. The audio from the external device will play through the system. If an external device is connected, its audio takes priority over record playback.
Audio from the AUX IN can be encoded to a USB drive or SD/MMC card. In PHONO/AUX mode, insert a memory device and press REC. Select the encoding destination (USB or SD) and confirm. Start playing the external audio. The system will encode at a 1:1 speed to MP3 128 kbps. Press STOP to finish.
Press the BT button to enter Bluetooth mode. Long-press BT for new device pairing. On your device, search for "CD114" and pair. Stream music from your device to the unit. Note that if an external audio device is connected to AUX IN, its audio takes priority over Bluetooth and cassette playback. Ensure your Bluetooth device is within 15 meters of the unit.
Music played via Bluetooth can be encoded to a USB drive or SD/MMC card. While playing Bluetooth audio, press REC. The USB or SD icon will flash. The system will encode at a 1:1 speed to MP3 128 kbps. Press STOP to finish.

The manual provides a troubleshooting guide for common issues related to sound, radio reception, and media playback. For sound problems, check volume, power connection, function selection, and proper media insertion (correct speed for records, correct side up for CDs, proper insertion for cassettes, USB/SD). For radio reception issues, check the area for signals, rotate/reposition the unit for AM, and completely unravel and reposition the FM wire antenna for FM. Avoid placing other electrical equipment too close to prevent interference. If problems persist, contact after-sales support. Do not attempt self-repair.
