2. Especially in the case of mixed operation with EtherCAT, we recommend selecting a special

bus cycle task on the Profibus DP I/O Mapping tab of the PROFIBUS master (PROFIBUS MC-

PBM).

The "Cycle settings of the higher-level bus" serve to use the bus cycle task set via the PLC

settings tab of the Lenze Controller (device):
