What to do if Lenze Control Unit SMV drive stops and “F.nF2” fault is displayed; P419 code is “1xxx”?
    • C
      Christopher MahoneySep 18, 2025
If the SMV drive stops and displays the “F.nF2” fault with a P419 code of “1xxx”, it indicates that the Master device forced a Network fault using the Control Supervisor Object 0x29-1-17 “Force Fault Trip”. Check the Master device control logic to resolve this.

    Why Lenze SMVector Decel Override?
    • J
      Jason FrancisAug 25, 2025
If the Lenze Inverter has stopped decelerating to avoid tripping into fault due to excessive motor regen (2 sec max), and it trips into fault, increase P105 and P126. Alternatively, install a Dynamic Braking option.

How to fix Lenze SMVector Inverter Dynamic Braking fault?
    • B
      Benjamin HaynesAug 26, 2025
If the Lenze Inverter dynamic braking resistors are overheating, increase the active deceleration time (P105, P126, P127) and check the mains voltage and P107.

What to do if Lenze SMVector Inverter OEM Defaults data fault?
    • S
      Stephanie ColeAug 27, 2025
If the Lenze Inverter drive is powered up with P199 = 1 and the OEM settings in the EPM are not valid, install an EPM containing valid OEM Defaults data or change P199 to 0.

What does it mean if the Lenze Control Unit SMV drive cannot be accessed from the network and the P419 Code is "083"?
    • A
      awoodsSep 23, 2025
If the SMV drive cannot be accessed from the network and the P419 Code is "083", it indicates a duplicate DeviceNet address. Ensure the SMV drive address is unique, reset the SMV drive by cycling power, and use the Faulted Node Recovery utility to resolve this.

    Tiffany GomezSep 23, 2025
Why does the Lenze Control Unit SMV drive stop without a fault when P419 code is “1111”?
    • K
      Kayla OwensSep 23, 2025
If the SMV drive stops without a fault and the P419 code is “1111”, it means the master device closed the established connection when the SMV drive was in Network Control Mode, and the Parameter P419 DeviceNet Idle Mode is set to 0 (“Stop the Drive”). To resolve this, switch off Network Control before the established connection is closed, set the DeviceNet Parameter P419 DeviceNet Idle Mode to 1 (“Hold Last State”), and re-establish the connection and restart the SMV drive.

How to fix no communications from the option module in Lenze Control Unit?
    • J
      juliethompsonSep 10, 2025
If there are no communications from the option module in your Lenze Control Unit, there could be several reasons: * The module might not be initialized: Check the drive to module connection and verify parameters P400 and P402. * Incorrect EtherNet/IP settings: Check parameters P410 - P421. If unsure, reset EtherNet/IP parameters to factory default using P403. Power cycle the drive after changing the IP address setting or use P408. * Improper wiring: Check the wiring between the EtherNet/IP network and communication module. Ensure that the terminal block is properly seated and check the connection between the module and the drive.

How to fix Lenze Control Unit module to drive communication timeout?
    • G
      grantjeremySep 12, 2025
If the module to drive communication is timing out, the connection between the drive and the module might not be properly established. Check the cable and connection between the module and the drive to resolve this issue.

How to resolve Lenze SMVector Inverter EPM fault?
    • R
      Rick JohnsonSep 4, 2025
If the Lenze Inverter displays an EPM fault because the EPM is missing or defective, power down the drive and replace the EPM.

Why Lenze SMVector OEM Settings Operation warning?
    • J
      Jessica BrownSep 1, 2025
If the Lenze Inverter shows an OEM Settings Operation warning because an attempt was made to change parameter settings while the drive is operating in OEM Settings mode, note that in OEM Settings mode (P199 = 1), making changes to parameters is not permitted.
