4 Operation
4.1 General Timing Specifications
4.1.1 Startup Time
During start-up (after power-on) the flow measurement is not performed. Start-up time is about 8 seconds.
4.1.2 Thermal Stability Time
To guarantee specified accuracy thermal stability of sensor must be reached. Therefore, it is recommended to
wait 30 minutes after power-on to get stable flow measurements.
4.1.3 Zero Adjustment
The duration to perform a zero adjustment is < 30 seconds. Following options are available for zeroing:
1. Activating by Levitronix
®
Service Software.
2. Activating by the user panel in the system menu functions.
3. Activation by digital input (default configuration).
4.2 Standalone Operation with User Panel
Only the basic functions of the user panel are described here. For more detailed description consult the
standard firmware specification of the LUI-B.1-02.
4.2.1 Basic Operation
With the user panel LUI-B.1 the flowmeter can be operated and monitored manually according to Figure 11..
After power on the display shows the actual flow. By pressing the Up or Down button the actual calibration set
can be viewed. By pressing the Up or Down button again the user returns to the flow monitoring display.

4.2.2 System Menu Functions
By pressing the On/Off button for more than 2 seconds the System Menu can be reached with the following
basic functions:

In the System Menu and its sub menus, the menu tabs are browsed using the Up and Down buttons. Items
are selected with the On/Off button, and values are modified using the Up and Down buttons. The Menu can
be left by pressing the On/Off button for more than 2 seconds.
