GLASS REPLACEMENT
1. Put on gloves. Remove door from hinges by lifting the door
up. See Figure 47.
2. Loosen the clips with a Phillips screwdriver. See Figure 48.
3. Carefully remove broken glass. See Figure 49.
4. Check to see if gasket held in by the small clips is damaged.
If it is, remove old gasket and replace with new gasket. See
Figure 49.
5. Put new glass panel in position. Leave space around glass for
thermal expansion. See Figure 48.
6. Tighten clips with Phillips screwdriver. See Figure 48.
7. Slide door back down the hinges. See Figure 47.
NOTE: Use only original Lexington Forge
replacement parts.
Always use gloves when handling
broken glass.
CAUTION
Make sure the glass panel edges
do not touch any metal parts during
thermal expansion.
