Maintaining the Print Cartridge
When toner is low, faded or light areas may appear on a printed page. You may be able
to temporarily improve print quality by redistributing the toner. The following procedures
may let you finish the current print job before replacing the print cartridge.
Redistributing Toner
1 Pull the front cover open.
2 Remove the print cartridge from the
printer by lifting up and pulling it
towards the front.
Warning! To prevent damage to
the print cartridge, do not expose
it to light for more than a few
minutes.

CAUTION! The fuser area may be
hot.
