When
from the console display is activated, the Recording Voice Tag
screen will appear. The Lexus Integrated Mobile Phone System
voice recognition feature is listening actively for words to record.
INFORMATION
If an identifier is not registered within 5 seconds, or if you touch
from the console display, the system will return to the Phone
Book screen.
Precautions When Creating Voice Tags
1. When activating the recording voice tag function, close all
the windows
and turn off all accessories in the vehicle (i.e.,radio). It is not
necessary to turn off the ignition when performing this task.
2. The recording voice tag function has a higher level of perfor-
mance when two syllable words such as Bill Brown are used.
Avoid short one syllable words such as mom or dad.
3. If possible, avoid creating voice tags that begin with the let-
ters F or S. The system may not correctly identify these words
when placing a hands free call.
