3.17 Charging Troubleshooting
LGD690 uses Linear Charger IC(RT9536GQW) for charging control.The MT6323 circuit, detects the VUSB_USB_INand VBAT
voltages, and controls Linear charger IC(RT9536GQW) with CHG_EN pin(GPIO90). The RT9536GQW maximum charging
current is set around 950mA.
Charging Procedure
- Supply the VBUS_USB_IN use a TA oru-USB cable
- MT6323 controls the Linear charger IC.
- Charging current ows into the main battery
Troubleshooting Check Point
- Connection of the TA or u-USB cable
- Main battery
START
Check the Connection of
uUSB and Battery?
Check VBUS_USB_IN voltage
(4.7 ~ 5V, TP1 : C9107)?
Check +4V9_VCHG_LDO voltage
(4.6 ~ 5V, TP2 : C9112)?
Change or charging the Battery
Check TA or uUSB cable
Check U9100(Charger IC)
