4. Turn ON the TV.
Note: If Installer Menu item 118 POWER SAVINGS is set to 3 (default), the TV must be ON in order
for steps 6 and 7 to be successful.
5. (Optional) Since the application is no longer being updated with new model proles, these models
are unknown to the application, which means that it is not possible to use the FTG Installer Menu
Conguration Utility to change Installer Menu items.
Therefore, if you would like to make any changes to the Installer Menu items, access the Installer
Menu on the TV and make the desired/applicable changes to the items BEFORE conguring the EBL
for FTG Mode in the next step.
6. “Write” the FTG Channel Map to the EBL (switches the EBL from Pass-through Mode to FTG Mode).
Note: After a “Write” of new data, the TV will briey display a green text banner that shows the EBL
rmware version and release date.
7. “Read” the current FTG Installer Menu settings from the EBL using the FTG Installer Menu
Conguration Utility.
Note: When you “Read” the settings from the EBL, a pop-up notice will be displayed (see example
below) to indicate that the chassis ID of this model is unknown and so a generic Installer Menu prole
will be loaded. Click OK to dismiss the pop-up window and continue. The resulting “generic” prole
contains all Installer Menu items, including a number of items that may not be applicable for this model.
Refer to the Installer Menu section of this document for detailed information on Installer Menu items
that are specic to the LT572M.
8. Save the FTG Channel Map and FTG Installer Menu settings to an FTG Conguration (.rml) le for
future use.
9. Tune the TV to a logical channel in the FTG Channel Map.
Note: For information on remote management using an FMA, refer to the appropriate Installation &
Conguration document for the FMA in use. For example, for an FMA-LG102, refer to the FMA-LG102
Installation & Conguration Guide.
