  If your LG Heat Pump isn't starting even though the power supply is fine, the water inlet temperature might be the issue. If it's above 57 °C, the unit won't start to protect the system. Similarly, in cooling mode, the unit won't operate if the water inlet temperature is below 5 °C. In heating mode, the unit won't operate if the water inlet temperature is below 15 °C. In these cases, wait for the unit to adjust the water inlet temperature. If you're not using a back-up heater, consider increasing the water temperature with an external heat source. If problems persist, it is recommended to contact your dealer.

  If your LG Heat Pump isn't starting despite the remote controller displaying information, one potential cause is the water inlet temperature. The unit won't operate if the water inlet temperature is above 57°C to protect the system. Alternatively, the water inlet temperature might be too low. If it's below 5°C during cooling, or below 15°C during heating, the unit will not operate. In these cases, allow the unit to warm up the water inlet temperature. If you are not using the back up heater accessory (HA**1M E1), increase the water temperature with the external heat source (heater, boiler).

  Water pump noise in your LG Heat Pump can be due to a couple of reasons. One possibility is that air purging isn't completely finished. To resolve this, open the cap of the air purge and add more water until the pressure gauge reads between 2 and 2.5 Bar. If water doesn't splash out when the tip (at the top of the hole) is pressed, air purging is not yet complete; properly purged water will splash out like a fountain. Another cause could be low water pressure. Check if the pressure gauge indicates above 0.3 Bar and ensure that the expansion tank and pressure gauge are functioning correctly.

  If the DHW (Domestic Hot Water) in your LG Heat Pump isn't getting hot, there are a couple of things to check. First, the thermal protector of the water tank heater might be activated. To resolve this, open the side panel of the DHW tank and push the reset button of the thermal protector. Another possibility is that DHW Heating is disabled. Ensure that DHW Heating Operation is selected and that the corresponding icon is displayed on the remote controller.

  If water is flooding out through the drain hose of your LG Heat Pump, it could be due to overfilling, a damaged expansion tank, or an activated thermal protector in the water tank heater. To resolve overfilling, release water by opening the safety valve switch until the pressure gauge reads 2~2.5 Bar. If the expansion tank is damaged, it should be replaced. If the thermal protector is activated, open the side panel of the DHW tank and push the reset button of the thermal protector.
