Energy efciency rating is the amount of electricity and water used when washed the declared amount of
laundry at the COTTON/NORMAL course by the test method of the Efciency Supervision Appliances Man-
agement code following the law of the Energy Use Rationalization.
It may consume more electricity and water per unit capacity than what is declared at the energy efciency
rated class depending on the types and amount of laundry in the actual washing.

■ Consumer’s right
It is the ‘Precious Right’ for customers that a product is warranted for service free of charge for 1 year from
the date of purchase for a breakdown while using it. However, it is noted that the service will be charged even
within the warranty period for a breakdown caused by the customer’s fault or natural disaster.
■ When purchasing a new product
We provide a discarding service for old products for free when you purchase a new
product from a distributor of LG Electronics.
■ For simple discarding
Call for a service to a community center for the discarding of large end of lives such as
electric appliances or furniture
■ The responsibility for the charged service (burden of customer’s expense)
In cases of the following, it is charged even within the warranty period when service is requested.

A failure caused by foreign substances such as coins, pins, pens and memory wire in the drum

A failure caused by its use for a purpose other than the normal intended use of laundry and spin dry such
as skin peeling of agricultural products

A failure caused by dropping or impact to the machine resulting in product damage and functional failure

The exterior damage or deformation by an organic solvent such as thinner or benzene

A failure caused by the use of consumables or the replacement of parts that are not from LG Electronics

A failure caused by supplying wrong voltage
7
A failure caused by the loss or damage of parts by the customer’s arbitrary disassembly

A failure caused by the repair or conversion of the machine by other service personnel than those from a
service center of LG Electronics

A failure caused by a natural disaster such as lightning, re, damage from storm and ood, gas, damage
from sea wind, earthquake and etc.

A failure caused by not following the ‘Safety Instructions’ in the product user’s manual of LG Electronics

A failure caused by another customer’s fault

When the water supply is shut-off or when the water tap was closed

A failure caused by other problems from the product such as faulty power outlet, non-insertion of power
cord, clogging of drainage, freezing or others

A failure caused by moving the product by the customer’s request after the rst installation or by reinstalla-
tion after moving
To install as built-in, it needs more space than the product size.
The exterior design and size may be changed to improve the product quality
without notication to consumers.
If the product is used for business purposes, the warranty period is reduced to
6 months. (e.g.: place of common use such as sauna, hotel, dormitory, training
institute and etc.)

product is designed mainly for home use in every region.
