A Linksys range extender is a device which allows you to repeat the wireless signal of any access
point or router in order to provide Internet connectivity to hard-to-reach areas through a wireless
connection.
This article will guide you on how to access your range extender’s web-based setup page. Click on
the following links that best apply to your current network setup:
For a non-configured extender
For an already configured extender
For a non-configured extender
You will need to plug a computer to the extender’s Ethernet port.
Follow these steps to access the web-based setup page for the following scenarios:
You just got the extender and it is not yet configured.
You have reset the extender and prefer to set it up manually.
Your extender is configured but it’s not connecting to your wireless router and you would like
to review the existing settings to edit if necessary.
Step 1:
Plug your Linksys range extender to the power outlet. Wait for the LEDs on it to be stable.
Step 2:
Connect your computer to the Ethernet port of your Linksys range extender using an Ethernet cable.
