Front Landing Gear
1. When installing front landing gear Lippert recommends at least 12" of ground clearance when the jack is
in the retracted position and the frame is in a level state.
2. Using (3) 1/2"-20 x 4" GR8 bolts per jack, attach the landing gear to the mounting brackets (Fig. 5) to
achieve proper ground clearance. A minimum spacing of 3-hole patterns (6.75") is recommended
where possible.
NOTE: Add a 1/2" lock washer to each bolt (Fig. 5) before inserting through the mounting bracket and jack.
Secure with a 1/2"-20 UNF GR8 serrated flange nut and tighten to 52-64 ft-lbs (Fig. 5).
3. Install the hydraulic fittings on the landing gears.
A. Install the necessary fittings into the Extend and Retract ports at the top of the jack (Fig. 2).
I. If a hose terminates at the jack, then an elbow fitting (Fig. 4) will be needed.
II. If a hose continues beyond the jack, then a straight and tee fitting combination (Fig. 4) will be
needed.
