When installing hydraulic hoses, avoid areas of high heat, e.g. exhaust outlets. Do not use sharp or
abrasive materials on or near hydraulic hoses.
Hydraulic Hoses
1. Attach hoses to fittings at manifold (Fig. 6).
A. Attach landing gear orange extend hose (Fig. 6A).
NOTE: The landing gear extend hose must be connected to a fitting that corresponds to a coil with the
gray wire connected to it.
B. Attach landing gear black retract hose (Fig. 6B).
C. Attach roadside rear jacks orange extend hose (Fig. 6C).
NOTE: The roadside rear extend hose must be connected to a fitting that corresponds to a coil with the
purple wire connected to it.
D. Attach curbside rear jacks orange extend hose (Fig. 6D)
NOTE: The curbside rear extend hose must be connected to a fitting that corresponds to a coil with the
blue wire connected to it.
E. Attach rear jacks black retract hose (Fig. 6E).
2. Attach hoses to jacks.
A. Attach a landing gear orange extend hose from the manifold to a tee fitting (Fig. 7A) on the lead
landing gear (Fig. 7).
NOTE: Whichever landing gear is connected first to the pump becomes the 'lead' landing gear, the other is
then designated as 'follow'.
B. Attach a landing gear orange extend hose from the lead landing gear jack to a 90 degree elbow
fitting (Fig. 7B) on the follow landing gear jack (Fig. 7).
C. Attach a landing gear black retract hose from the manifold to a tee fitting on the lead landing gear
(Fig. 7C).
D. Attach a landing gear black retract hose from the lead landing gear jack to a 90 degree elbow or
straight fitting (Fig. 7D) on the follow landing gear jack (Fig. 7).
