2 Safety
2.1 Preliminary notes
It is important that you read these operating instructions carefully before using the Valiant.
Please make sure that these instructions are available to all personnel who operate the Valiant.
Pay attention to the following before using the Valiant:
1. The apparatus may not be used in close proximity (e.g. less than 2 meters) to short-
wave equipment.
2. Never leave the patient unattended during treatment.
3. The apparatus may not be used in so-called “wet rooms” (hydrotherapy rooms).
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for the results of using this apparatus for any
purposes other than described in these operating instructions.
2.2 Safety belt
The safety belt has to be worn during running on the machine. The Valiant will stop
automatically as soon as belt contact is interrupted from the magnetic contact of the operating
panel.
2.3 Emergency stop (Optional)
The machine will stop automatically when the emergency stop has been pushed. The program
can be started again after dislocation of this button by pulling it and pushing enter.
